Zara Haul Try-On Session
I asked, you answered, and we all love Zara. It’s for sure my style, yet I do wish the shopping experience was better, and I don’t just mean as a blogger. Usually in stores, their customer service is awful, their return policy is super strict, and most of the time clothes are all over the floor. Then, their website isn’t the most user friendly, with a lot of things that I find in store, never online… or vice versa. Then there’s the blogger perspective. So, as you might know, we have the opportunity to monetize things we wear and link, through affiliate linking. RewardStyle is the biggest platform to do so for clothing, and it truly is a reward for us, because in doing clothing blog posts (most of the time for free), is a lot of work. So in going to try-on, or give recommendations from personal shopping or online shopping, linking the items, etc… the commission is a tiny upside to the work we as bloggers put into it.
Anyway, Zara is not a participant in the RewardStyle platform, therefore, I cannot link my outfits to get commission on them. Which is probably why you will never see any of the shopping bloggers give Zara the time of day. It is also somewhat hard if I’m wearing a Zara item, to actually find the link online, as like I said, the site is not always user friendly. But in saying all this, I wanted to do something different and fun, and hopefully give you some inspiration in outfitting.
I wanted to choose a few favorite items that I shopped for in store, and mix and match them. My objectives were to get creative with texture, color, and layering so you think differently when putting things together this upcoming season. I also wanted to show you that a few things can go a long way with mixing and matching… your wardrobe doesn’t have to be huge, it just needs the right items, and items you absolutely love so you actually wear them.
I scoured the store and pulled the items that stood out to me that I know will go a long way with wear and seasonal trends. You all also always ask for workwear, so I definitely wanted this to have a workwear spin on it, and give you inspo. Office attire does not have to be boring or circa 1995 (dark and boring no, shoulder pads, yes). Office attire can be so fun, I personally love it! I hope I accomplished that in showing you these combos. If you are following on Instagram (a lot of my blog readers come from FB), then make sure you check out my stories, because you’ll get the live fitting!

I also have a high/low version of these heels here:
sweater (similar, this one not online) | jeans | shoes | bra (obsessed with it)
You can shop the rest of my outfit including my phone case below. I still love these jeans so much.
