I wanted to show how this outfit can also be worn with pants. And these ankle boots which are the greatest consignment store treasure find of all time. I found them tucked away at this little store in Roswell that is sadly no longer there. They fit like a glove and are so comfortable. I try to wear them with a lot of dark outfits in the winter, but the studs are sometimes too much that I am also looking for just a sleek plain black ankle boot with a thick heel. These from Madewell would be perfect because they can be both casual and dressed up.
I’m obsessed with boots (of all kinds) and like to think I started early. I remember wearing UGG boots in 2003 before they were ‘cool’ (were they ever? .. well yes to me) on a Spring Break with my sorority sisters and getting stares as to why I was wearing high boots at the beach. And I wore those babies with my shorts right into summer and didn’t take them off for 5 years. But anyway, right now I’m really into the taupe bootie. I have found some cute ones here, here, and here…. oh and let me just dream for a minute, here.
