The Jumpsuit Of My Dreams

Ok, so if I were to dream up an outfit (which usually happens, and then I can’t find it), it would include some kind of suspenders or a jumpsuit, and be completely comfortable. Well guess what? Anthropologie was listening to my thoughts and made this amazing piece. They came out with a green one about 2 months ago and it completely sold out online and in stores. Well that’s good because I wasn’t crazy about the green color anyway (as I’ve rambled on in other blog posts before). I guess they were listening to their audience because they came out with this black version and a blue version. The website says this is black but just like in the pictures, in person it really looks more charcoal grey, which means it will go with more colors. The back ties and is adjustable, so you can determine how low or high it falls in the front. The bottom hem hits right at the ankle, so even though it’s flowy, you won’t trip over it! It is literally perfect. I suggest wearing a more fitted shirt under it (try stripes) since the whole jumpsuit is big. I paired it with this top (Anthro also does one similar) and tied the back to create a more fitted look. I cannot find this top online anymore, but it’s in stores now at H&M (usually in the front of the store). Also, I get a ton of questions about both my back pack and shoes all the time, and they are both Zara. I suggest perusing that site when you have time because you will always find something fabulous and completely affordable, and it usually sells out quickly. My backpack has become my number one bag that I carry because it acts like a diaper bag and gives me both hands (and comfortable shoulders) when I’m out with the kids. It was only $30 (has lasted a year now) and there is a similar one on site now.
