A New Way To Red Dress

I found this little red dress at H&M and think it’s the perfect Christmas red! You should definitely snap this up, but it’s also great for when you just want to wear a true and bright red. So it will work for Valentine’s too! The dress itself has a keyhole in the front and I actually just wore mine backwards because I wanted a plain front. Either way will work, and it’s really flowy and fun. The only caveat is that it’s a bit sheer. It does have a shorter liner on the inside, and it perfectly fine in dimmer lights. I was wearing mine in the sunshine here, and probably could have used a slip. A red dress is definitely something I would say is a closet staple because there are times you might need it specifically, or just might need a really vibrant statement dress.

I paired my new favorite sheer socks with it instead of tights because that can create static and the dress won’t move as freely. I decided to not stay color safe and throw on my Buru Swing coat that I am absolutely in love with, for a spiced up look. Outfits and color pairings don’t have to be traditional or predictable. For this holiday season, I challenge you to branch out and try something different like that!
