Denim Jacket Dreams with Levi’s Tailor Shop at Avalon
I cannot tell you how excited I am about this post, this partnership, but especially… this jacket. I have dreamt about it for a few years, actually when the Levi’s Tailor Shop came to town 2 years ago. You might know I have worked with Levi’s before, and have those infamous pair that I wore like crazy the past 2 years… I love the brand! I am so excited that I got to team up with them again for a fun project with my friend Ashley Dorough of House of Dorough! We wanted to make you aware that Levi’s is also now size inclusive and will be carrying a range of sizes including plus size. But now let’s show off our jackets, because I’ve wanted an embroidered denim jacket for years, and you can have one too!
I’ve showed you on my store visits and IG stories that the Levi’s Tailor shop at Avalon can basically do anything you want. But did you also know they can change out the tag colors? The little red Levi’s tag can be changed out to something cool and neon, and the same goes for the belt waist tag. And then of course you can any kind of patches or embroidery. I went with my logo because I have always wanted it on the back of a jacket, and there is nothing better or more classic than a denim jacket (‘Merica).

There is one in Cali and another in NY. You can bring in a pair of Levi’s if you own them, and do whatever you want to them. But the special they are running this holiday (UNTIL SUNDAY 11/24) is free monogramming with any purchase of $98 or more. This is a great deal, but also something fun tacked on to something you’re already getting and will love. I also think it’s a great idea for family members or if you’re shopping for your significant other. This isn’t something most people do for themselves, but would treasure as a gift. I can’t tell you how many people have commented and asked about a customized embroidered denim jacket. It seems like that’s the real winner. You can get anything you want! Veronique, the tailor that helped design and execute mine is incredible talented and can help bring your vision to life. AND GUESS WHAT!? They take out of state orders all the time! I had a few readers ask me this on IG stories and I just heard back from my friends at Levi’s saying they welcome them! You can call the store and speak to Veronique and you guys can devise a plan from there, whether it’s sharing sketches back and forth, photos, or talking out something you would love to create. Not all Levi’s fit the same honestly, so stick with me, I know the ones that fit the best. Usually, the denim does not have stretch and I have always had to size up a few sizes in this brand. But they have started to make styles that do, and I always look for them because that is what works for me. And high waist, the higher, the better! So the pair that I have and love are a straight leg 501, high waist stretch. Seen here:
The ones I’m wearing today are very similar. They are the wedgie straight leg, and they are stretchy and super high waist. I love them! I went up 2 sizes so I could wear them to show you now (i’m about popping out though) but also right after I give birth. I always take a few months (9 to be exact) to get back into my pre-baby size, so I gave myself grace and these should fit as soon as the baby is out (give or take a few weeks).
If you are local to Avalon, I highly suggest stopping in the Levi’s Tailor Shop at Avalon this weekend (or call them!) to take advantage of the monogramming deal that is going on right now, but also check out the tailor shop for yourself and see everything that they can do.
