Madewell Favorites

Madewell jeans are truly the best fitting high waist jeans ever. For everyone. Every body type. Especially mine. They understand that some people need high waisted jeans, and raised the stakes coming out with the 10 inch rise. This is the one I need because I have a long torso and the 9 inch just isn’t tall enough. There is always enough stretch in the thigh and crotch, and always always gives you a butt. No matter what. I’ve been wearing Madewell for years, and have only strayed with my favorite Levi’s mom jeans. I did try Universal Standard, which I did love a lot… I just can always count on Madewell. I highly recommend going in store and trying on because you will feel so good about it.

MADEWELL FAVORITES: SHOES

Both shoes in this post are from Madewell, my favorite ever lace up sandals are staples in my wardrobe. I bought mine years ago and they come out with them every spring season and keep them stocked. I think they are so flattering on the foot and basically go with any sundress or jeans combo, you can’t go wrong. These mustard slip-on mules are a great option for dressing up in the hot weather because they also flatter the foot and leg, and mules are completely on-trend… as well as mustard color anything.

MADEWELL FAVORITES: JEANS

These specific jeans that I’m wearing are my latest ones from Madewell, and I chose them specifically for the hem. They are called a tulip-hem and I think the cut really flatters the leg… anything for that, right?! The fit of the jeans overall are stretchy, so comfortable, and don’t slide down because the rise is great! The tanks are both great little summer options (currently ON SALE), eyelet and sweater tanks are so summer and I love pairing with jeans on a chilly night or shorts when it’s too hot. Madewell does eyelet so well, just search ‘eyelet’ on their site! Also, I’m posting these photos since this is my blog and I can basically do what I want, but hi I’m a AA cup and don’t need to wear a bra for support, so sometimes I don’t want to. I know it’s very risque or anarchist of me, but who wants some sweaty under layer when it does nothing for you except be uncomfortable?! I mean, I’m not that conservative with social norms anyway, so this shouldn’t surprise you.
