Spring Workwear With White House Black Market

I am so excited to be teaming up with White House Black Market, as I have been a long time admirer of the brand, and think they have such a classic yet distinctive look. I wanted to do a few things with this partnership; create something that is completely on trend so you can wear it now with no reserves and mix a few items that would create a few different looks for many occasions.

I don’t know when WHBM started adding the pops of color, but I remember when they started it. (Hello, you know, I grew up at the mall) They used to only showcase one color in store, among everything else black and white. It was so cool, and they would change the color each floorset. You can find all the colors they offer, online, among their classic black and white items.

When I saw this blazer, I knew it was something special just by the look. It looks designer inspired (at a reasonable price). I am going to vouch 100% that the fit of this blazer is everything you want it to be. I absolutely love it. It’s tailored and hugs in all the right places that you want a blazer to fit. Blazers are supposed to flatter a woman just as much as they are supposed to give her power and credibility. (Not that we can’t do that ourselves, but dressing the part… is part of it) I then saw that it had matching pants, which really catches my attention because I love suiting, and I love doing anything that is monochromatic. Going with a fun color for a suit in the spring is the best way to do workwear in warm weather. It’s a soft pastel, not too girly or loud, but could also be paired with burnt colors in the fall… so very versatile. I stayed within the color story for the blouse underneath, knowing I can wear both of these tops with jeans for an ‘after work’ event.

White House Black Market also offers beautiful dresses. They have everything from classic workwear to special occasion like a wedding guest or any kind of shower. If you browse their site, you will see that they partner with many brands and designers, aside from just the WHBM brand. There are so many to choose from and gives WHBM a variety and style that everyone can see themselves in. I wanted to choose a dress that could be worn to a shower or something summery and fun, but throw a blazer over it, and you can wear it to work in the summer!

I finished off both looks with a classic pair of pumps, with a few twists. They have a black outline which feels so on brand for WHBM, and these shoes are a great representation of what the brand is. Classic, functional, pretty. The heel is the perfect height for me, I like some height, but I need to be able to walk… like actually walk. I knew these would flatter because most white pointed toe pumps do, but the shape of these do your legs all the favors. I love the way the front of the shoe looks and I knew these would go great with dresses and pants/jeans.

Stay tuned for more outfits with this blazer (it also comes in butter yellow that I actually need immediately, white, and coated black), I love it so much, I can’t wait to pair it with blue and white jeans! Browse the site for yourself and grab a new spring outfit with a few pieces that you can mix and match!
