Styling Destroyed Denim
Is destroyed denim still in? Yes. Is destroyed denim possible to style different ways? Yes again. If you would’ve asked me this a few years ago during the height of my dark high waist denim phase, I would have hesitated. I always loved the look on other people but never myself. I have been experimenting lately with a few different kinds and brands, and have landed on these AGolde destroyed denim pair. I did try the Target ones and those are actually wonderful, because they are stretchy and comfortable. But I do find that these AGolde ones are very flattering and live up to the hype that they get.
The price tag is going to be an investment jean, but no more than a classic pair of Madewell or Levi’s. I originally saw these specific jeans on my neighbor Nicole, and thought she looked so good in the them, and that they just looked so good in person. So that was the first convincing thing. The she absolutely raved about them and influenced me to try them. Now I’m telling you how much I love them. The holes in the knee hit just right, and I can’t explain it, but they are a great pair of jeans. They also hit exactly where I want jeans to hit on the ankle too, and you guys know that’s a huge deciding factor for me.
Alright, I know we are just going on and on about jeans here, so I’ll let you look and shop if you want, but thought I would style a few different ways for you.
The first look is a sweater tank and then layered with the Amazon kimono we all love.
Then I paired them with the cutest Buru top so something more classic.
I also was trying out this little rainbow tank for fun, but it’s from Zara and not normally my style. Maybe I’ll leave this type of look for Gen Z.
