The One Style Trend That All The Fashion People Use
I hope that got your attention, because this is one of my favorite trends of all time. The monochromatic look can literally be so versatile and done a million ways, with basically every color there is. In my opinion, it is the most flattering and can be on anyone! It can also be a great wardrobe fix if you are bored with your clothes or you just don’t know what to wear. Go monochromatic! Pair the same colors together, I guarantee you have a few in your closet… just put them together! For Fall, I love making jewel tones stand out and really making them create a statement. By creating a monochromatic look, you are slimming yourself because it’s easy on the eye, and for it to put together a smoothing image with all one color. I personally love the look and then adding in some other color for fun. But the monochromatic trend is not limited to the exact shade of color. You can play with this look by doing something of a similar hue, but maybe something darker or lighter. This is such a fun style to play around with, I challenge you to do it from your closet this week and let me know!
Today, I want to introduce you to the brand NIC+ZOE. I am working with them this month, and they could not be more lovely. The brand is a quality classic and has some really pretty pieces that are great staples that will last from season to season. But don’t write it off as old and boring, they have on trend everything in the most classy way. Today I am wearing the softest scrunched turtleneck with matching velvet pants. Everything fits true to size and has a stretch that makes it wearable and comfortable. Sometimes you might come upon brands that have your favorite color the best way you’ve seen it. Or why a certain brand just makes a certain color look so pretty. That is how I feel with NIC+ZOE and this raspberry color. It really does look that rich and vibrant in real life. Even though Allie with Viva Lux Photography‘s shots and editing are on point these days… it’s pretty true to color! I slid right into these NIC+ZOE black mules and topped it off with the cutest houndstooth headband. Which cloth and puffy headbands (mostly with top knots) are so in right now, so get one asap!
