The White Dress Edit

The white dress is one of the most fool-proof things to wear, to add to your wardrobe, and to even choose for family photos. I wanted to share these family photos that I don’t think I ever did a few years ago, and a list of my favorite current white dress options to shop now! As you can see, the photos were in the beginning of fall, but the white dress works year round! Then, you can build an easy color scheme around you, making it a bit easier to play with color or texture with little kids. When styling clients, one of the most asked questions is what to wear in family photos. I even have people hire me specifically for family photo shoots. I see how these are some of the most important pictures we take all year or even in a lifetime, as they hang on our walls as part of our decor, are sent to relatives, and are sometimes the first photo people see in an introduction or good old Facebook stalk. I do like to choose my own outfit and then plan my family around that. It seems to be easiest, because then I do take into account their interests, favorite colors and styles, environment we are shooting in… and then go from there. Which is why choosing a flattering crisp white dress that I personally love, is so easy to build around. So save this post when you start to feel overwhelmed or stressed about an upcoming photo shoot, as I will always update the shopping options below.

The one in these photos is older from Free People, which you can still find on some Poshmark sites, but I have amazing options for you that you can easily shop below. Thanks for stopping by, this was by far my favorite family sessions, I can’t believe the kids have grown so much since then!
