Magic Dreams: Harry Potter at PBK

One thing I absolutely love about Pottery Barn Kids is that it speaks to a parent’s design eye. I just love their whimsical approach to their kids’ stuff, but more specifically, how they do character lines or themes. The look is always easy on the eye and not tacky at all. Oh your kids love something obnoxious looking that you would never allow in your house? Pottery Barn Kids will make it look gorgeous. We got Jackson’s first sheets there a few Christmases ago, they were Thomas the Train and we still use them to this day. You can also find more Pottery Barn Kids stuff we use HERE on this post. PBK had Peanuts themed stuff that was nostalgic to our generation, and a renewed interest with today’s babes. And yay, now Harry Potter at Pottery Barn Kids is here!

Pottern Barn Kids now has the cutest Harry Potter line for all you fanatics! I personally love Harry Potter and my kids are just getting there a little bit (we watched the first movie). We picked up a few bedding items that are the coziest gem-tone colors and just done so well. Jackson now has Harry Potter sheets, a quilt comforter, matching pillow cases, and this maroon and yellow duvet cover that I am loving! It’s all really soft too, PBK always has great quality that is thick and lasts even on your kids’ wear and tear.

This precious star garland is also from PBK, I have a strand in Elston’s room just because, and now Jackson has one above his bed. He is so cute because he loves hanging things in his room. He is still all about his name string pendant from when he was a baby, so adding the garland just added to his room decor and made his day!

PBK also makes Christmas decor like ornaments (the cutest) and stockings! Jackson decided he wanted every stocking we own, hung up, so it now looks like a family of 8 live here, lol. But I’m all for letting the kids have things that mean a lot to them, and give them a sense of importance. Jackson seriously loves to have his input on where things go, what is hung up in the house, and where, that it makes me happy to watch his joy in that.

We also got these adorable Harry Potter bean bag chair covers. They have every ‘house’ from HP available, so you can choose which one is your favorite, or whatever color you’re wanting. These are the perfect chairs for the kids to sit in while watching movies or lounging in the living room. Jackson personally loves stacking them and jumping on and off them, haha which is very typical for our family, but maybe you would use them for more calm purposes. They will be living in our playroom for movies with friends too.

There are a few other things I’m looking at when it comes to Pottery Barn Kids, for the kids this holiday. I am looking at the gorgeous whimsical dollhouses as a major contender for Elston and some princess bedding that she will get for her bed in the new year. PBK is usually my go-to for kids decor literally for every room in the house, so we can maintain a look and not have the house be a million different themes, yet we can all be happy here! Yay, mom win!
