Spring in Atlanta: Things To Do With Your Family

This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of The City of Brookhaven; however, all
thoughts and opinions expressed are my own

Spring in Atlanta is one of the most beautiful! And it’s fun because festivals start and the weather is absolutely perfect to be spent outside. Now until May is one of my most favorite times because it’s warm enough to enjoy the outside, but not humid yet so it’s enjoyable. Now that our kids are a little older we will definitely be out and about and taking advantage of everything Atlanta has to offer… and will have our entire family, dog included. Next weekend kicks off Atlanta festivals with the Cherry Blossom Festival in Brookhaven! We will be packing up and heading there for the day on Saturday and would love to see you there! Brookhaven is so nice because it is pretty accessible for all areas of Atlanta to get to. I love it because it’s right on the perimeter so we don’t have to drive all the way downtown with kids for this.

The trees all around Atlanta are starting to bloom, so there will be great photo ops! I suggest wearing your cutest spring outfits because the weather will be perfect, and come out and hang with us. Many of my blogger friends will be there because it’s literally in a central location for everyone I know in Atlanta haha!

Here is a breakdown of what will be going on the entire weekend:

-It’s free! So bring everyone you know and spend the day outside!

-You can bring your dogs, there is a Pet Parade. There is also a Kid Zone just for kids.

-There is a 5K on Saturday, the race is both a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and fundraiser for CHOA!

-SO much to enjoy from music (there is a huge line up of bands) to food, and booths to visit and check out!

The festival is both Saturday (10-7) and Sunday (10-6) at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road. Any further questions you might have or any additional information you need, you can visit HERE!

Outfit details: My smocked off the shoulder dress is Sugar Lips and so perfect for spring! The day I shot these photos it was actually freezing and I just couldn’t take off my jeans, but I ended up loving the look so I went with it. It’s a perfect dress to wear with jeans until it warms up! Normally I would wear a skinny jean, but I am so obsessed with these $44 mom jeans and kind of liked the fit of them with the dress. Bracelets are Julie Vos and you can shop the rest of my outfit below!
