Checklist Items For A New Baby

This post is sponsored by Babbleboxx, all thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting brands that allow City Peach to run full-time.

When preparing for a new baby, we can get overwhelmed. Even when having done it a few times before. I want this baby to feel special and have a few of their own items, just for them. Which in a few instances in our house, is going to be the case because I got purge happy and gave away a ton of baby stuff. We basically have a few clothes from each Jackson and Elston, but I got rid of all the baby toys and baby supplies… oops. This is where BabbleBoxx is coming to the rescue with a cute little curated box for a new baby, with hand-picked baby supplies and brands to be able to check out and share with you! I love these boxes, and I am typically not a surprise goodie box kind of gal, but love how it’s a way to share quality products with you guys.

As a seasoned mother, I can say that these items will be used, and a few of the toys (thank goodness we are getting a few new toys) are introducing me to new brands too!

First up, is a brand we all know and love, aden + anais. This snuggle kit is so soft and honestly the perfect one-stop gift for any expectant mom and baby! It comes in three color schemes and I love them all. The snuggle kit is machine washable and comes with items that are so nice to have all together and matching, like the lovie blanket, swaddle, hat, and gown. The gown is the one-size knotted which is so popular in style right now, but so much more practical than footies when they are first born. The hat is one-size and grows with baby as well. We will be using this in the first weeks for sure.

Jellyfish Sensory Rattle and Teething Toy: For this baby to have something new like this just for them, is perfect. These are perfect because they are large, soft, and help with teething as well as teach hand/eye coordination.

Boudreaux’s Maximum Strength Butt Paste: This is one of my favorite brands and we have been using it since Jackson was born. It’s 40% zinc oxide and is free of dyes, preservatives, parabens, and talc.

GUND Tinkle Crinkle Activity Ball and Caterpillar: machine washable plushes, they are so soft, Elston can’t stop playing with them. This is a great baby gift too b/c it’s something they will definitely use and play with. It has different textures and noises to keep their attention for safe play. Pair with a book for a gift, and it will always be appreciated!

Pipette Baby Balm and Lotion: I’m new to this brand and liking it so far. I personally love a balm and have used it on my stomach to test it out. The balm is great for chapped lips or irritated diaper lines. The lotion is to help increase and maintain moisture levels, as babies skin can get dry easily. This brand was recently written up in Good Housekeeping!
